
HAYWARD, CA — Hayward Police have arrested a suspect in the stabbing death of a man on Saturday morning, the department announced on Monday.
Chad Williams, 24, of Hayward, reportedly turned himself in for the alleged murder, police said.
On Saturday at around 7:56 a.m., Officers responded to the 24000 block of Amador Street and found an unresponsive man who had sustained injuries consistent with being stabbed. The man, 67-year-old Hayward resident Thomas Boyd, was declared deceased at the scene, police said.

Police identified Williams as the suspect and he was arrested on suspicion of murder on Sunday. He is currently at Santa Rita Jail.
