Hayward Man ID'd As Homicide Victim in Richmond

HAYWARD, CA —A 19-year-old man who was fatally shot after attending a house party in Richmond earlier this month has been identified as Flavio Iniguez-Garcia from Hayward, according to the Contra Costa County coroner's office.

Police responded to a ShotSpotter gunshot detection system notification around 1:15 a.m. on Oct. 13 in the 100 block of Fifth Street.

Iniguez-Garcia was found and pronounced dead at the scene.

Police did not immediately respond Monday to a request for an update on the investigation into his killing. — Bay City News
