Hayward Man ID'd As Shooting Victim

HAYWARD, CA — A man who died in a shooting last week in a Hayward neighborhood bordering Dry Creek Pioneer Regional Park was identified as 50-year-old Pedro Silva, the Alameda County coroner's bureau said Monday.

Silva, of Hayward, was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds when officers responding to reports of a shooting found him at 6:16 p.m. Nov. 30 inside a vehicle in the 31000 block of Trevor Avenue.

Silva was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
