Hayward Police Arrest Suspect After Wednesday Morning Search
The HPD executed an search/arrest warrant relating to robberies in Hayward and Union City and they recovered evidence and a loaded weapon.
HAYWARD, CA —The Hayward Police Department announced that an arrest was made Wednesday after a search/arrest warrant was executed on the property of a person suspected in multiple robberies. A loaded firearm also was found in the search, police said.
According to reports, on Wednesday morning, officers from HPD's Criminal Investigative and Special Response Unit executed a search/arrest warrant in the 25000 block of Belmont Avenue. The search was related to multiple robberies in Hayward and Union City, police said.
HPD officers said they recovered evidence and a loaded gun at the scene, and they took a suspect into custody.
