Bishop O'Dowd 65 Castro Valley 42
Bishop O'Dowd High pulled away in the final quarter to decisively defeat Castro Valley High, 65-42, and virtually sew up the Hayward Area Athletic League title.

The game was close for three quarters. The Dragons led 29-26 at halftime and 43-38 at the end of the third period. However, Bishop O'Dowd outscored the Trojans 22-4 in the final quarter.
Castro Valley is now 17-5 overall and 9-3 in league play. They had won seven in a row.
Bishop O'Dowd is 18-5 overall and 13-0 in league. They've won 13 out of their past 14 games.
San Lorenzo 72 Tennyson 39
San Lorenzo High dominated Tennyson High in a 72-39 victory.
The Rebels led 39-24 at halftime and steadily increased that margin in the second half.
San Lorenzo was led by senior Davon Stewart, who scored 22 points, and junior Ali Faruqbey, who put in 18 points and snared nine rebounds.
The Rebels are now 11-11 overall and 7-5 in league play. The victory snapped a three-game losing streak.
Tennyson falls to 4-19 and 1-12 in league. They've lost four straight.
GIRLS

Bishop O'Dowd 81 Castro Valley 37
Bishop O'Dowd High left no doubt who is the champion of the Hayward Area Athletic League.
The Dragons scored early and often on their way to a convincing 81-37 victory over Castro Valley High.
The Dragons are now 20-2 on the season and 12-0 in league play.
Castro Valley fell to 15-7 overall and 8-4 in league. The Trojans have now lost two in a row.
Arroyo 53 San Leandro 52
Arroyo High came from behind to defeat San Leandro High, 53-52.
San Leandro led 25-20 at halftime and 33-31 at the end of the third period. However, Arroyo High outscored the Pirates down the stretch to snatch the victory.
San Leandro was led by senior Deajanae Conic, who scored 23 points. The Pirates are now 3-20 on the season and 3-10 in league.
Arroyo improves to 11-11 overall and 5-8 in league.
Tennyson 58 San Lorenzo 26
Tennyson High rolled past San Lorenzo High, 58-26.
Tennyson led 16-4 after the first period and 29-10 at halftime.
The Lancers are now 7-15 overall and 1-12 in league play.
San Lorenzo falls to 3-19 and 1-11 in league.
Non-League
Dublin 51 Liberty 18
Dublin High made quick work of Liberty High from Brentwood, 51-18, in a non-league game.
The Gaels led 23-3 at the end of the first quarter and 33-5 at halftime.
Dublin improves to 14-8 overall. Their league record remains at 5-4.
Liberty falls to 14-8 overall.
