Identity Withheld Of Hayward Shooting Victim
Police responded to a traffic accident and discovered that the driver had been shot.
HAYWARD, CA — Hayward police have opened a homicide investigation following the discovery Sunday of a man in vehicle who had been shot, police said.
Officers responded at 9:56 p.m. to Santa Clara and Jackson streets after someone reported a traffic crash. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are withholding the identity of the victim for now.
