Update: Power Fully Restored in Castro Valley
It took a full five and a half hours to fully restore electricity to all customers.
CASTRO VALLEY, CA — PG&E has fully resolved a large power outage in Castro Valley that initially impacted 730 customers. The trouble was damaged equipment on a power pole.
Crews restored most power within two hours. For an unfortunate few, it electricity was out for five and a half hours.
The outage was reported at 12:23 p.m. Everything was fixed at 5:53 p.m.
