Las Positas soccer player gains scholarship
Hawks midfielder Nick Tucker, a Foothill High graduate, is headed to William Jessup University
Las Positas College sophomore Nick Tucker has signed an athletic scholarship with William Jessup University (NAIA).
Tucker, a Foothill High and Ballistic United Soccer Club product, is coming off an outstanding season with the Hawks.
He is a 2017 United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-American, 2017 Coast Conference Midfielder of the Year, 2017 Team Captain and two-time Coast All Conference Player.
Las Positas, guided by head coach Andy Cumbo, was 9-0-4 in conference last season and 14-4-6 overall, including beating Canada 1-0 in the first round of the playoffs.
