Las Positas star Anand Hundal makes All-State team

Manteca High graduate averaged a double-double this season and led the Hawks to the playoffs

Las Positas sophomore Anand Hundal, a 6-foot-10 graduate of Manteca High, has been named to the CCCMBCA 2017-18 All-State Team.

Hundal averaged a double-double this season with 14.8 points and 10.3 rebounds game, along with 2.7 blocks. The Hawks finished with an 18-11 record and advanced to the state playoffs for the third consecutive year under coach James Giacomazzi. Sophomores Terrell Brown of CCSF and San Diego City’s Robert McCoy were named the state players of the year. In all, 27 players we honored by the coaches’ association with all-state honors.
