Mammograms Save Lives – Appointments Available This Saturday
Eden Medical Center is hosting a Breast Cancer Screening Event on Saturday, Oct 27th. Mammogram appointments are available from 10am to 3pm
Routine mammograms save lives because they help doctors find breast cancer early; when it’s easier to treat and easier to beat.
Despite the fact that a yearly mammogram is recommended for all women over the age of 40, many women still do not seek or receive an annual exam. One common reason is no insurance (or underinsured). In order to overcome this barrier, funding from Sutter Health and the Carol Ann Read Breast Health Program will ensure, those who qualify, will have access to this important screening.
