Update: Missing Man With Alzheimer's Located
Jose Ledesma was last seen leaving a restaurant Wednesday evening. He was found on Saturday.

Update from the Hayward Police Department:
A citizen noticed Mr. Ledesma in the area of Blossom/Meekland and notified police. He was taken to a nearby hospital for assessment, due to his previously existing medical conditions, where he was reunited with his family and is expected to be released.
The Hayward Police Department and Ledesma family would like to thank the community and our partners in the media for their assistance during our search for Mr. Ledesma.

Jose Ledesma, 78, has been missing since 9 p.m. when he did not return home from a restaurant. He was last seen at 5 p.m. leaving a restaurant in the 100 block of Harder Road.
Ledesma has Alzheimer's disease and other medical conditions that require him to take medication.
Police are describing Ledesma as a Hispanic man who is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 145 pounds. He was wearing a black jacket, black dress socks and a large bamboo-style hat.
Anyone who sees Ledesma is being asked to call Hayward police at (510) 293-7000.
