Man Stabbed To Death In Hayward Sunday Night

This was the city's 8th homicide of the year.

HAYWARD, CA — Police in Hayward are investigating the city's eighth homicide this year after a man was fatally stabbed Sunday.

Officers were called to the area of Lance Way and Tucker Street around 10:21 p.m. on a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.

Police found an unresponsive man who appeared to be suffering from stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld at this time.
