Man's Body Found On Redwood Road Saturday

CASTRO VALLEY, CA —A man's body was found on Redwood Road near mile marker 3 in rural Castro Valley Saturday afternoon. His death is considered suspicious, according to a release from Ray Kelly of the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office.

The California Highway Patrol was first to arrive, around 2:30 p.m., and called in the Sheriff’s Office for further investigation.

Deputies and detectives found indications of foul play.

The man's identity is unknown and an autopsy is pending to determine how he died.
