March 6, 2014 Regular Meeting

Janet Fleming will be Toastmaster this evening.  The theme of the meeting will be "The Fun of Personal Growth and Achievement."  Three speakers are scheduled, Liliana Ventura, Anh Nguyen, and Sarah Martin, all of whom are working on projects from the Competent Communicator Manual.  Each of their speeches will be 5 - 7 minutes in length.  In addition, we will have several 1 - 2 minute impromptu Table Topics speeches on topics assigned by our Topicmaster for the evening, Pamela Zhao.  The evening will close with oral evaluations of the three primary speakers by Patrick Crosby, Laura Nelson and Eugenia Lau, followed by an overall evaluation of the meeting by the General Evaluator for the evening, Sachiko Ito and reports by the evenings Timer, Grammarian, and "Ah" Counter.

Guests are always welcome!  We even give our guests the opportunity to participate in Table Topics.  Our meetings tend to be very interesting, covering a wide range of topics.  You never know what you might learn!  Why not join us Thursday?
