Some 450 plants were found at the home in Eden Township, according to deputies.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Some 450 marijuana plants were inside a home that caught fire in Eden Township Tuesday morning, according to the Alameda County Sheriff's Office. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is believed to be electrical.

"Three suspects fled the scene during the fire and were detained a short time later," the sheriff's office reports online. "A fourth suspect later showed up at the scene and was also arrested. The suspects appear to be involved in illegal sales and cultivation of marijuana."

In addition to the marijuana plants, about 24 pounds of harvested product were recovered.
