Mushrooms Grow On Dead Tree: Photo Of The Day
There's no telling what you'll see when you lace-up your hiking boots.
CASTRO VALLEY, CA — David Tavis took a hike on the Chabot-to-Garin regional trail, and this unusual sight caught his eye: mushrooms growing on a dead tree that had fallen over. If you go for a hike, David said it is "by Cull Canyon in Castro Valley." He snapped the photo on Feb. 10.
