Oakland Raiders Join With Other Organizations to Donate $20,000 to Hayward Schools
An important drill: touchdown celebration!
HAYWARD, CA - Raiders players were on hand earlier this fall to present a $20,000 grant in financial and in-kind resources to support new fitness and wellness programs in schools to Hayward Unified School District.
The grant is from the Oakland Raiders, Real California Milk representing California’s dairy farm families, and the National Foundation on Fitness, Sports, & Nutrition, representing the Presidential Youth Fitness program.
Raiders players Justin Ellis and Ryan O’Malley, Raiderettes cheerleaders and Raider Rusher, the team’s costumed Youth Ambassador all joined kids in fun at Southgate Elementary School.
