Police Arrest Driver of Stolen Car After Chase on I-880
Police officials say the car was stolen out of Hayward.
Police arrested the driver of a vehicle reported stolen out of Hayward after a chase on Interstate Highway 880 this morning, a Alameda County Sheriff’s official said. Police located the vehicle in Hayward and pursued it into Oakland to 98th Avenue and C Street where deputies made the arrest without incident at about 3:30 a.m., police said.
The chase did not result in any collisions or injuries to suspects, civilians or police, the sheriff’s official said.
