'Rash' Of Car Burglaries In Castro Valley Thursday
The crimes happened along the Castro Valley Boulevard corridor.
CASTRO VALLEY, CA — The Alameda County Sheriff's Office reports "a rash of car break-ins along the Castro Valley Boulevard corridor" Thursday afternoon around 1 p.m.
The investigation is in its early stages and more information is not readily available.
The sheriff's office is reminding drivers to take your belongings with you when you park your vehicle. They note, "An auto burglary can be completed in approximately 10 seconds. Please do your best to not be victimized. Spread the word with your family, friends, and neighbors."
