Look: Redwood Road Closed From Castro Valley to Oakland
The closure impacts access to Lake Chabot campgrounds.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Redwood Road is closed to all traffic at mile marker 7.38 due to roadway failure, according to the Alameda County Public Works Agency.
This closure blocks all access between Castro Valley and Oakland.
Motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians are all advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

If you are heading to the Lake Chabot campground facilities, you may enter from the Oakland side of Redwood Road.
There's no estimate on when the road will reopen.
