Sheriff's Office Seizes 400 Pounds Of Fireworks
Deputies responded to more 160 calls about fireworks on the 4th of July.
ALAMEDA COUNTY, CA — The Alameda County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday morning it had a busy 4th of July.
Deputies responded to more 160 calls related to illegal fireworks, the department tweeted.
"We seized about 400 pounds of fireworks and a short-barreled AR-15 (rifle) ghost gun from a vehicle. We could not shut down all the illegal fireworks activities, but we did our best," the department said.
