Spring Morning At Lake Chabot: Photo Of The Week

Can you imagine a more serene scene?

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — Any time of year is a good time to visit Lake Chabot. But right now, springtime, offers special rewards. Breeana Robbins shared this photo of Canada geese and their goslings swimming peacefully on a recent morning.

On her Facebook page, Breeana wrote, "Spring, the season of life, new beginnings, and growth. Babies are being born and guided by their parents, the leaves are filling in the tree canopy creating shade from the long days to come of hot, summer sun, the land is rejuvenating after months of being saturated with rain, and the water is flowing bringing life to all. What a beautiful time spring is!"

Thank you for sharing your photo, Breeana!
