According to a Go Fund Me appeal, "Oz suffered injuries to both his legs causing him to be immobile. His son also broke bones in his pelvis, shoulder, and hip, requiring emergency surgery, placing three pins to stabilize his hip. In addition, he had severe tire burns to his thigh, potentially requiring plastic surgery. As you can imagine, this trauma will require extensive physical therapy for the foreseeable future and may require additional surgeries in the months to come."

The fundraiser has garnered more than $38,000 toward a goal of $50,000.
