We're Going on Vacation - The Theme

The date was May 22, 2014. Pam was our tour director, taking us on a worldwide tour with very interesting choices of transportation, including ferry from Buenos Aires to Africa and outrigger canoe passage from London to Montreal!

The transit did not thwart our speakers or fellow travelers. Jim started us off an un-aired segment of Leonard Nimoy's "In Search Of" series titled "In Search of the Gator Duck." His ten minute journey into the unknown included twenty powerpoint slides. This was Jim's ninth Advanced Manual project. Sarah A. evaluated Jim's speech.

Roger wrapped up the prepared speeches with an interpretive poetry reading - "The Legend of John Henry." Noah evaluated Roger's speech, telling us of Roger's love of the railroad.

Werner led our topics speakers on their journeys, telling of a variety of vacation experiences.
