Castro Valley School Calendar, 2018 - 2019 School Year

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — The first day of school in Castro Valley is August 21 — and whether you and the kids are looking forward to the new school year or are dreading the end of summer, you'll want to mark the date on your calendar ASAP. The Castro Valley Unified School District has released its 2018-2019 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, holidays, and the end of school.

• 11/19-11/23: No School (Thanksgiving)

December

• 12/24-1/4: No School (Winter Break)

January

• 1/1-1/4: No School (Winter Break)
• 1/18: No School, High School Only (Teacher Work Day)
• 1/21: No School (Martin Luther King Jr. Day)

February

• 2/18: No School (Presidents' Day)

March

• No days off

April

• 4/1: No School (Staff Development)
• 4/22-4/26: No School (Spring Break)

May

• 5/27: No School (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/6: Last Day of School
