Driver Killed, 4 Passengers Injured In SUV Rollover
UPDATE: The morning wreck was near Olympic Boulevard off the 405, officials said.

LOS ANGELES, CA – A motorist was killed Wednesday and his four passengers were badly injured when an SUV crashed and overturned on the Olympic Boulevard offramp from the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in West Los Angeles.
The crash occurred about 4 a.m., said California Highway Patrol Officer Tony Polizzi.
A man in his 20s died at the scene and his four passengers were transported for hospital treatment in critical condition, according to the CHP and reports from the scene.

According to the preliminary investigation, the late-model Lexus SUV went out of control -- possibly while speeding -- and overturned on the offramp, authorities said. The offramp was closed while an investigation was conducted, a closure that was continuing about three hours afterward.

One person was killed Wednesday morning in a multiple vehicle crash on the Olympic Boulevard offramp from the southbound San Diego (405) Freeway in West Los Angeles.
The crash occurred about 4 a.m. and Los Angeles firefighters reported one person was dead at the scene, according to Officer Tony Polizzi of the California Highway Patrol. Four others were critically injured, ABC7 reported.
A SigAlert has been issued for the offramp until 6 a.m., Polizzi said.
