Airport Business Magazine honors HNTB aviation expert Jennie Santoro, AIA, with "Top 40 Under 40" Award

HNTB Corporation’s aviation expert— Jennie Santoro, AIA, NCARB—was named as “Top 40 Under 40” award recipients by Airport Business Magazine. The annual award recognizes 40 aviation industry professionals under the age of 40 for their academic, professional and community achievements. HNTB was the only company to have two award recipients in one year.

Santoro is an integral member of HNTB’s aviation infrastructure team on the West Coast. She joined HNTB in 2006 as an architect, participating in all phases of design and documentation while working on convention centers and aviation projects in the Washington, DC office. She then relocated to San Diego, California, where she was successfully promoted to positions of increased responsibility. Appointed project architect in July 2014, she was involved in all phases and design of the San Diego International Airport Terminal 2 West Expansion including programming, design, documentation, stakeholder engagement and construction administration. While working on this “Green Build” project, she became actively involved in an architecture, construction and engineering mentorship program for local high school students. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architecture from The Catholic University of America.
