Haz-Mat Team Called to Equinox on Sepulveda Boulvedard
The Los Angeles Fire Department called after pepper spray was released in the building
The Equinox on Sepulveda Boulevard near Missouri, formerly The Sports Club/LA, is now re-opened after pepper spray was released inside the building, authorities said.
Firefighters were sent to the fitness center about 11:30 a.m., said Cecil Manresa of the Los Angeles Fire Department. It is unclear how the pepper spray was released.
An officer from Los Angeles Fire Department Batallion 9 said the irritant was mild and four people had been evaluated for injury, but released.
