Charlotte's Shorts features eight actors reading short works of fiction written by Charlotte Dean. The actors include Laraine Newman (Saturday Night Live; Trophy Wife,) Tim Bagley (Web Therapy; Young and Hungry,) Lynne Marie Stewart (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia; The Peewee Herman Show,) Jeremy Rowley (iCarly; Key & Peele,) Jordan Black (Marvin Marvin; Community,) Bridget Sienna (Seinfeld; Good Christian Bitches,) Jillian Bell (Workaholics; 22 Jump Street,) and Patrick Bristow (Showgirls; Transformers: Age of Extinction.) All are either former or current member of the famous comedy/improv troupe, The Groundlings and are known for their original character work. Charlotte Dean is an artist and author (My Crazy Baby Brother.) Food, singles ads and bullies are amongst the targets of Dean's fictional musings which are also featured on her blog (charlottedean.wordpress.com) Charlotte's Shorts is directed by Charlotte Dean and Emmy Award winning writer/producer Tracy Newman.
