Bank of America promotes local resident

Cheviot Hills resident Sindy Spivak was recently promoted to Western Region Market Executive of Community Development Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. In her new role, Spivak will manage a team of community development experts who provide financial solutions for affordable and mixed income housing projects, while also working closely with key partners to provide the full scope of bank products to clients.

She has been a member of the Bank of America since 1997, where she began as a relationship manager, responsible for creating and managing debt relationships nationally with low income housing tax credit syndicators. Most recently, Spivak managed the bank’s credit products team responsible for community development loan originations and portfolio management.

With over 25 years of experience in underwriting, originating and managing financial products for a wide array of commercial real estate developments, Spivak is excited to bring her expertise to the Community Development Banking team for the Western Region market. She also serves as a board member of the National Equity Fund.
