The Center for Radiation Therapy of Beverly Hills - Vantage Oncology Hosts The GENTS Event, March 18th
Special Event to Educate Attendees about Men's Health and Wellness Workshop

The American Cancer Society estimates that in 2015, 220,800 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer and 27,540 will lose their lives to it. Prostate cancer can be a serious disease, but most men diagnosed with prostate cancer do not die from it. With advanced surgical and radiation therapy treatments, more than 2.5 million men in the United States who have been diagnosed with prostate cancer are still alive today.
While some men still believe they are “too tough” to get cancer or are “too busy” to get an exam, learning about this disease and others is crucial, because many forms of cancer can be prevented and most cured if detected early. In its continued efforts to increase awareness about the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer, The Center for Radiation Therapy of Beverly Hills – Vantage Oncology is hosting The GENTS Event on Wednesday, March 18th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will be held at the Center located at 9229 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills.
Attendees will be treated to an evening of education and “manly” pampering thanks to generous donations from its event sponsors. Highlighting the event will be an Men’s Health and Wellness Workshop presented by Michael J. Vicari from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and a Physician Panel Discussion Q&A from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The physician panel includes several of the area’s top medical specialists including: Henry Yampolsky, radiation oncologist and medical director of The Center for Radiation Therapy of Beverly Hills – Vantage Oncology; Christopher Rose, M.D., radiation oncologist at The Center for Radiation Therapy of Beverly Hills – Vantage Oncology; Robert Princenthal, M.D., radiologist; Arnold Cinman, M.D., Ph.D., urologist; and Mark C.
