A Los Angeles man who fatally stabbed a co-worker at the Wilshire Country Club was sentenced to 36 years in prison Monday.

LOS ANGELES, CA – A Los Angeles man who fatally stabbed a co-worker at the Wilshire Country Club nearly a year ago was sentenced Monday to 36 years to life in prison.

Erick Antonio Hernandez, 30, was convicted in August of second-degree murder for the killing of Emmanuel Bravo, 28, of North Hollywood, last Oct. 21.

Bravo was stabbed in the back with an eight-inch chef's knife about two hours after confronting Hernandez about a complaint he'd made days earlier to management about a locked break room door, according to Deputy District Attorney Bobby Zoumberakis.
