2) 30 percent off coffee makers at Peet’s Coffee & Tea

Peet’s is having its Annual Brewing Event. Many coffee makers and coffee filters are 30 percent off at all stores. Also, visit Peet’s in the Westwood Village on Wednesday, March 23 from 11 a.m. to noon for the last installment of Peet’s Winter Tasting Series. The topic will be “How to Brew the Perfect Cup of Coffee.” Participants get 15 percent off of featured coffee. Peet’s WestLA will have its Tasting Saturday, March 26 from 11 a.m. to noon.

3) Nordstrom shoe clearance
It doesn’t happen often, but when it does it’s magical. Nordstrom is having a shoe clearance sale for women, men, and children. Check it out if you can before all of the good deals are gone.

4) Afternoon Tea at Clementine
Clementine is a great place to go for a lovely lunch, but did you know that the Century City restaurant also serves afternoon tea on Thursdays from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.? Guests can choose between an assortment of Intelligentsia teas, tea sandwiches, and assorted dainty sweets for $18.95. Reservations are required at least 24-hours in advance.

5) Three cookies for a dollar at Diddy Riese
It seems like there are few places outside of the $99 cent store where you can get anything for a dollar, but at Diddy Riese you can get 3 homemade cookies for $1. If that isn’t enough, the generous ice cream sandwiches are $1.50. Be prepared to wait in line at this Westwood Village institution. It’s worth the wait.
