Elderly Couple Found Shot To Death In Westwood

WESTWOOD, CA — A man and a woman were found shot to death in a parked car in the Westwood area, and authorities are investigating the case as an apparent murder-suicide.

The dead man and woman were a couple in their 80s, police said.

The bodies were discovered about 8:45 a.m. in the 500 block of Veteran Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. It was not immediately known which person shot the other, police said.

Authorities withheld the names of the pair, pending notification of their relatives.
