Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet Hofesh Shechter's Violet Kid and Alexander Ekman's Hubbub

New York’s exciting dance company Cedar Lake Contemporary Ballet brings another unique evening of dance to the Royce Hall stage, in a program featuring Alexander Ekman’s, Hubbub, a humorous look at the creative process featuring music by Frédéric Chopin and Xavier Cugat.  The captivating company also performs Violet Kid, a new piece from modern dance star Hofesh Shechter.  Beginning 15 minutes prior to performance during audience seating on both Cedar Lake dancers will offer a sneak peek at an on-stage version of its groundbreaking installation performance style recently featured in the romantic thriller, The Adjustment Bureau.
