The UCLA film series, “Kazakhstan: Montage of Cinemas,” will open with a special appearance by the Kazakh traditional music ensemble Turan. The music ensemble Turan was started in 2008 by a group of students, who are award-winning artists, and have performed worldwide. This concert is the introduction of the screenings of the film series “Kazakhstan: Montage of Cinemas," which will start on Saturday, June 11.
