Fire Scorches Westwood Apartment Building

No one was hurt Thursday when a fire broke out at an apartment building on West Eastborne Avenue in Westwood.

WESTWOOD, CA — A fire scorched an apartment building in Westwood Thursday, but everyone in the building managed to make it out unscathed.

Firefighters received a report of a fire in the 10500 block of West Eastborne Avenue at about 10:15 a.m. Thursday. Crews extinguished the flames in 26 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the blaze nor an estimate for the damage.
