Fox Announces Winter Programming Schedule
Fox announced its winter programming plans with five series premiering and the returns of three series.

LOS ANGELES - Fox announced its winter programming plans Thursday, with five series premiering, including the latest version of the "24" franchise, "24: Legacy," and the returns of three series.
The drama "Star" will be the first of the premieres, debuting Dec. 14 following the fall finale of "Empire." "Star" is co-created by "Empire" creator Lee Daniels and follows three talented singers (Jude Demorest, Brittany O'Grady and Ryan Destiny) who hope to become music superstars.
The cast also includes Queen Latifah and Benjamin Bratt with Lenny Kravitz as a guest star. "Star" will regularly air Wednesdays at 9 p.m. beginning Jan. 4.

The comedy "The Mick" will premiere Jan. 1 and will air regularly at 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Jan. 3.
"The Mick" stars Kaitlin Olson from "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," as an unapologetic degenerate who suddenly finds herself stuck raising her spoiled niece (Sofia Black D'Elia) and nephews (Thomas Barbusca and Jack Stanton) in affluent Greenwich, Connecticut.

"My Kitchen Rules" will premiere Jan. 12 at 9 p.m. It pits celebrity duos against each other as they cook and critique each other's food in Hollywood homes. Celebrity participants include the singers Lance Bass and Brandy, country singer Naomi Judd and the comedian Andrew Dice Clay.
"24: Legacy" will premiere following Fox's coverage of Super Bowl LI on Feb. 5 and regularly air Mondays at 8 p.m. beginning Feb. 6.
"24: Legacy" stars Corey Hawkins as an Army Ranger forced into the federal witness protection program after lead a raid that killed a terrorist leader in Yemen and Miranda Otto as an intelligence officer who resigned as head of the Counter Terrorist Unit to support her husband's (Jimmy Smits) presidential campaign.
"APB" premieres Feb. 6 at 9 p.m. It stars Justin Kirk as a billionaire engineer who takes over Chicago's troubled 13th District and reboots it as a private police force after witnessing the murder of his best friend.
The 16th season of the cooking competition "Hell's Kitchen" will begin with a two-hour episode Jan. 5 and regularly air at 8 p.m. Thursdays. Its season will conclude Feb. 2. "MasterChef Junior" will begin its fifth season Feb. 9, airing in the 8 p.m. Thursday time slot.
The final season of "Bones" will begin Jan. 3. The fourth season of "Sleepy Hollow" will begin Jan. 6.
Fox is moving the comedy "New Girl" to Tuesdays at 8 p.m. beginning Jan. 3 and the drama "Rosewood" to Fridays at 8 p.m. starting Jan. 6.
