Greuel Unveils Tax Debtor List
Three Westwood-Century City businesses are among the top 10.

Los Angeles City Controller Wendy Greuel announced Wednesday that her delinquent taxpayer program has collected nearly $5.33 million from 38 delinquent taxpayers in its first two years.
“Every dollar saved can help address the City’s massive budget deficit,” Greuel said in a statement. “With over $220 million in delinquent taxes still to be collected, we will remain vigilant cracking down on tax cheats.”
Three Westwood-Century City businesses are among the top 10 alleged tax debtors, according to a list from Greuel's office: Zynx Health Inc., at No. 4, allegedly owing $485, 155.54; Crystal Sky Communications, Inc. at No. 9, allegedly owing $235, 829.40; and 10th-ranked NWQ Investment Management, LLC, with $164,185.08 in alleged debts.

Greuel also announced that her delinquent taxpayer program has begun litigation to collect an additional $40 million in delinquent taxes from 57 businesses.
The delinquent taxpayers were sent a certified letter advising them that they had 30 days to pay or settle their debt. Those debtors who did not respond or enter into settlement negotiations were immediately posted to the City’s website.
