High-End Cannabis Lifestyle Brand for Women Live on Kickstarter

The Buzzerie, a Los Angeles-based high-end cannabis lifestyle brand for women, is now live on Kickstarter! The campaign, which is 10% funded and goes until Thursday, July 11, is to develop luxury fashion and household products through which women can show their support for cannabis and efforts to decriminalize the plant.

The Buzzerie believes that women who use medical and recreational cannabis products where legal are largely left out of the industry. According to Gallup, 6% of American women use marijuana, which is almost 10 million women. In addition, women direct 75% of household spending. Despite this, the cannabis industry still targets men. The Buzzerie offers a departure from the traditional and stereotypical images associated with cannabis use and targets women who work, have kids, have spouses, pay bills, volunteer, cook, love, and yes, smoke. “We’re less about stoners, more about sophistication,” says The Buzzerie’s founder.

The Buzzerie firmly believes in the decriminalization and legalization of marijuana nationwide. For this reason, The Buzzerie intends to donate a portion of all proceeds to the Drug Policy Alliance, in support of their important work towards these goals.
