LAPD Motorcycle Officer Injured In Crash

A Los Angeles police motorcycle officer was hurt Tuesday in a collision at La Brea Avenue and Venice Boulevard.

LOS ANGELES, CA — A Los Angeles police motorcycle officer was hurt Tuesday in a collision with a vehicle in the Mid-City area, but his injuries were not considered life-threatening, an LAPD spokesman said.

The collision occurred at 8:05 a.m. at the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Venice Boulevard, said LAPD Officer Drake Madison.

The officer, whose name was not released, was transported to a hospital for treatment and was listed in stable condition, Madison said.

The other driver stopped at the scene and assisted officers with the investigation, he said.

No other injuries were reported.
