A man was pulled from a swimming pool at Tuesday evening by lifeguards, says Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
He says the man was conscious and alert, but he was taken to to be checked out. A fellow swimmer says the man initially wasn't breathing when pulled from the water.
