Monday Is Free Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven Stores

In what has become an annual tradition, all 7-Eleven stores throughout the country will celebrate today's date—7/11—by offering free slurpees to customers, while supplies last.

Customers can fill up a single 7.11-ounce cup with their favorite sweet, shaved-ice treat until midnight Monday or until the soda fountain runs dry.

According to the company's "fun facts" page, approximately 25 percent of the U.S. population live within one mile of a 7-Eleven store.
