Nine Women of Excellence Celebrated on One Extraordinary Day!

400 Years of Combined Service has Optimized The Lives of the Children and Families of Vista Del Mar

With a clear and compelling sense of purpose, progress and passion, four hundred generous women assembled March 6, 2018 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills to honor inspiring and devoted Vista Del Mar Child and Family Services advocates and Ruth Shuken Award recipients: Jeanne Gerson, Audrey Gronsky, Jean Leserman, Carol Mann, Pam Pacht, Gayle Rodgers & Freda Teller.

Esteemed Vista Del Mar leadership including Board Chair, Laurie Konheim, proudly celebrated two additional superstars, Jill Friedman and Carolyn Siegel with Visionary Awards for their tireless advocacy, volunteering and philanthropy on behalf of Vista’s children of all circumstance and abilities.

Emmy Award-winning Fox 11 newscaster Mark Thompson served as the perfect Master of Ceremonies, shining the light on the extraordinary commitment of time, energy, and resources that each and every woman honored brought to fruition throughout their years of boundless service.

Vista’s 6th Annual Women of Excellence Awards luncheon featured a breathtaking performance of the song Imagine by the beloved Vista Players. The musical group, comprised of young talented Arts Enrichment students, received thunderous applause from luncheon attendees, all of who understand the transformational healing impact of Vista’s award-winning comprehensive Arts Enrichment programs.

Thanks to the generosity of presenters and attendees alike, this year’s Women Of Excellence luncheon was a great success, raising in excess of $300,000.
