Police Need Help Identifying Suspected Burglars who Targeted Cars in Apartment Garages

Three suspects are sought for burglaries along Beverly Glen Boulevard.

Hoping to generate tips from the public, authorities today released security photos of two of three people wanted for burglarizing vehicles in the West Los Angeles area.

Around 3:15 a.m. Sept. 9, two men entered the parking garage of an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Malcolm Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The men took items from a vehicle and fled.

At about 12:30 a.m. July 2, one of those two men, along with another accomplice, entered the parking structure of an apartment building in the 2200 block of South Beverly Glen Boulevard and burglarized a vehicle. They left the building and drove away in a 2005-2010 black Ford Explorer.

The three men involved in the burglaries are all described as about 25- 30 years of age, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighing about 160-170 pounds.

Anyone knowing the identity of any of the suspects was urged to call LAPD Officer Witzer, at the West Los Angeles Station’s auto theft office, (310) 444-1506; or (877) LAPD 24-7.
