Time to Register to Vote is Running Out, California

The deadline to register or make any changes is 11:59 p.m. May 23.

Want to vote for Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton in the Californa primary election on June 7? You need to register to vote by Monday.

Even if you are registered, you may want to check your party affiliation. Those who registered at the DMV may have been listed as not belonging to any political party because they missed a second step at the computer terminal.

The Republican primary in California is closed, meaning you have be registered as a Republican to vote.

The deadline to register or make any changes is 11:59 p.m. May 23.

You can apply online -- or check your registration status -- by visiting you local Registrar of Voters' office. Registration forms are also available at libraries, post offices and most government buildings.

Election materials are also available in other languages, such as Chinese, Hindi, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Spanish, Tagalog, Thai or Vietnamese

The election will feature races for president, Congress, Legislature and some city posts.
