After a suspicious package prompted a road closure and evacuation at UCLA, a bomb squad found nothing threatening in a shopping bag that was left unattended in the 800 block of Westwood Boulevard,according to Los Angeles police

A bomb squad investigated at the scene of the unattended bag, prompting Westwood Boulevard to be closed for roughly two hours Monday afternoon.

The area was cordoned off and Westwood Boulevard was closed between LeConte Avenue and Charles E. Young Drive, according to a report from the scene.

Police are investigating a suspicious package in the 800 block of Westwood Boulevard in Westwood, according to Officer Rosario Herrera of the LAPD's Media Relations Section.

The Department has not said when the road is expected to reopen.
