Crews will begin closing lanes and ramps tonight in advance of a full closure of the southbound side of the San Diego (405) Freeway in West Los Angeles.
The freeway will be closed from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday between Getty Center Drive and Santa Monica Boulevard to allow roadway pouring on the median, installation of an overhead sign and re-striping of lanes, according to Metro.
The same stretch is scheduled to be closed between midnight and 6 a.m. Monday.
