Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin Gets Package Of Poop: Reports
An LAPD official said the Christmas-themed package was filled with a good amount of horse manure.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A Los Angeles bomb squad was called to a neighborhood in Bel-Air for a suspicious Christmas-themed package addressed to Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, multiple media outlets reported. Inside, police found a “pretty good quantity” of horse manure, Los Angeles police Sgt. Samuel Briggs told the New York Daily News.
A neighbor found the package around 5:30 p.m. Saturday and called police, the Daily News.
Briggs said the Secret Service would pick up the package on Sunday, the Daily News reported.

KNBC-TV reported, citing multiple sources, that a Christmas card was inside the package and made a reference to Mnuchin and President Donald Trump, but did not contain a threat. The station said there was "some kind of negative reference" to the GOP tax bill, which Trump signed on Friday.
