Video: Mohawked Thief Steals Art Instalation

Do you recognize these thieves?


Detectives today released surveillance video in hopes of identifying two men who stole 15 skateboards from an art installation in the lobby of a West Hollywood apartment building.

On Aug. 2 at 3:37 a.m., the pair pulled the Chocolate brand skateboards off the wall of the building in the 800 block of North Croft Avenue.

One man had black hair cut into a distinctive “mohawk” and was wearing heavy black plastic glasses. The other man was wearing a camouflage bucket hat, extra baggy white shorts and a black T-shirt with a logo.

A woman can also be seen on video surveillance entering the building shortly before the suspects and leaving immediately after. Police aren’t sure if she was involved.
